Intergenerational Dinner Party
On January 16th, we were on Oprah in Chicago, discussing intergenerational relationships with Naomi Wolf and Suzanne Braun Levine. Other feminists included in the show were Gloria Steinem, Rebecca Walker, Alison Stewart, and Faye Wattleton (among others). The conversation began (to paraphrase the title of the book on this topic by Christina Baker Kline and her mother, Christina Looper Baker) but there was clearly much more to say. We decided to have an intergenerational dinner party to continue learning from each other.
It'd be great if other women had their own dinner parties that night, with the goal of getting to know women of other generations better. If you do have a dinner party, let us know how it goes!
