Chair of the Ambassador Council
Sophia Sadinsky is the Chair of the Ambassador Program. She currently works as International Communications Manager for the Guttmacher Institute, a policy and research organization committed to advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights in the US and globally. As an Open Society Foundations grantee, she has done extensive field research with local human rights defenders in Colombia on the role of civil society in the peace process. She also lived for a number of years in Argentina, where she worked with Human Rights Watch conducting regional human rights monitoring and advocacy. Sophia received her Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where she earned distinction in International and Global Affairs. She has a BA in the Science in Society Program and French Studies from Wesleyan University.
The Ambassador Council is the outreach and engagement arm of Manifesta. The Council members serve as public advocates for Manifesta, connecting communities from around the world with the platform’s organizing resources in order to elevate and advance their campaigns.
